Trail head is north and west of parking area near the tall pine forest area. The trail is down hill heading southwest. Cache is approximately 15 yards off the trail.
The cache is an ammo box. Initial contents are: introduction to geocaching, sign in log, caribiner, small caribiner with bottle holder, cookie cutter, deck of cards, 2 rubber jar lid openers, emergency poncho, luggage tag, bandaids and case, hand warmers, magnetic refridgerator clip, sticky notes, golf tees, highlighter, key chain, chip bag clip.
