Took the afternoon off to take a little "focus" trek with girl dog "Josie". I had a cache that needed maintenance as well. Tried locating it with memory and no GPS and decided to check my GPSr only to see that I overshot it a bit. I just happened to have a replacement cache in my bag just in case so I decided to drop it here.
Actually a cool little spot that made me think of many things I REALLY enjoy doing on "Any Given Sunday". Being on the trail out away from the concrete/man made things, doesn't get much better than that! Just a very peaceful spot to think relax and focus.
Wildflowers are just starting to bloom, grasses are green, many types of waterfowl, just a BEAUTIFUL day out here today!
I have been very anxious to try out these new containers! Hopefully they will do a better job at keeping water out than the "water tight" Wally World ones was used so many of previously -ugh-
This cache would be best approached by foot, not mountain biking. Of course if you happen to be riding by, it would just be a short jaunt off the trail to get to the cache.
Very short easy walk to the cache site. Binoculars and cameras suggested, especially this time of year.
Was going to make this a key chain themed cache so there are many key chains in it. Plenty of other swag as well.
There is something for everyone :-)
