Geocache Description:

A decon just off the main Wolverine bowl loop.

I had barely left my car in the unofficial 'Prospect Heights overflow area' (down the road from the trailhead) when I passed a familiar face. LBK was just getting back from his own adventure so I stopped for a quick chat (thank goodness too, my car ended up getting stuck and he had a tow strap). After gathering some great trail info. and rescuing my car from the 'snow pit of doom', I proceeded toward the true parking area but not before passing by another familiar face driving by... Fuzzybelly! What a coincidence! But it didn't stop there. As I turned back around after almost falling out of my window trying to wave, I saw even more cachers on the side of the road. Burtosinak!? What's going on here? Did I miss an event listing? More waving. I finally pulled into the narrow, one lane drive to the trailhead lot but was blocked by a car that was trying to get out. It would be a tight squeeze.... I drove slowly closer and pulled over as far as I dared, not wanting to get stuck again. What in the world? BP and Tomanoble! We were so close as we passed each other that I was able to literally lean out my window and into hers to give her a hug. I hope the picture Tomanoble took of the moment makes it to the cache page. With all of those geominds seemingly making a random rendezvous, it seemed only natural to place a cache in honor of the contemporaneity. Enjoy! Bara

This one was placed during the record setting winter of 2012. It should be good year round. "Watch for Geocachers" pathtag for FTF!

Way to go Karma123 and meljo on the FTF!! Yahooee!!
