Geocache Description:


This is an easy, year round, family friendly cache located in Burr Oak Woods Conservation Area. You’ll be on a beautiful, chat gravel hiking trail named “Hickory Grove Trail”. Please stay on the trail, there is no bushwhacking. This trail is not a loop, so parking coordinates are included for each end of the trail. You will find a beautiful hidden pond on your way, that if visited in summer, has the most amazing wildflower fragrance. This is a perfect place for a picnic!
You're looking for an ammo box. Flat pocket LED flashlight for FTF.

If only out for this one cache, you can park at either parking lot listed. If out for our other multi-cache “It’s Alive” park at the east lot. It has both trailheads and will make for a great walk all together.
