Ft. St. Clair is a beautiful park in Eaton. It is my desire to fill it with geocaches for you to enjoy during your visit.
This is #3 in this series and is located towards the front part of the park in the woods. I am not sure how bad the terrian will be when it rains and gets muddy and things grow back up. So, I made it 2.5.
If you park your car before you reach the first building on your left, walk along the tree line and you will see a path back into the woods. That will get you less than 100 feet from the cache without bushwacking.
There are a lot of places for this one to hide, but we will see how you do. If people have trouble finding it, I will add a hint. It is somewhat visible if you can tell it is a cache.
The road through the park is open from April through October. They sometimes adjust the dates a little. If the park road is closed, there are places to park at the exit of the Fort. You can also find places in the cemetery across the street to park. Do not park along Camden Road or in Whisper Way.
As always let me know if the log is getting full or needs maintenance. Report DNF's so I know if there is a problem or if I need to raise the difficulty. Do your best to put it back in the same spot.
