This cache is on Donkey Path between Woolacombe and Mortehoe which runs parallel to Combesgate Valley. From GZ you will get a wonderful view of the valley and up on to Quarry Hill where "Not Hadrian's Wall" sits (GC2WWV3). You can see the hide clearly as you approach Combesgate Valley woods. It's a LONG way UP from this direction!!
Permission has kindly been given by the NT to place this cache.
I have given this a terrain rating of 3.5 as there is one path that is of that grade leading to this cache.
Suggested parking on Woolacombe Esplanade (Pay and Display at certain times of the year) and park as near to Combesgate Beach as you can. Pick up the public footpath between the houses on the opposite side of the road. See Waypoints for footpath co-ords.
