Geocache Description:

This cache was originally part of a series with caches in different parts of the state. The final for the series has been archived, as has at least one of the other 4 caches. This cache will continue as a stand-alone cache for the time being.

The Emerald Aguna (Aguna claxon) is a member of the Hesperiidae family, Subfamily Pyrginae. The species can be found in a range from Venezuela and Colombia north through Central America to Mexico. A rare stray to the lower Rio Grande Valley, Texas.
Hindwings are lobed. Upperside of body is green. Upperside of wings is brown with green wing bases. Forewing has a white median band both above and below. Underside of hindwing has a distinct silver-white median band. The wing Span is 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 inches (3.8 - 4.5 cm). The caterpillars feed on leaves of legumes and the adults on flower nectar.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
