Der Cache führt euch zu einer ehemaligen „Motte“ in der Nähe von Reute. Hier in der Nähe befand sich das Dorf „Schonloch“ das vor mehr als 700 Jahren existiert hat.
Eine Motte (frz. motte für „Klumpen“, „Erdsode“) ist ein vorwiegend in Holzbauweise errichteter Burgtyp, dessen Hauptmerkmal ein künstlich angelegter Erdhügel mit einem meist turmförmigen Gebäude ist. Weitere deutsche Bezeichnungen sind Turmhügelburg, Erdhügelburg oder Erdkegelburg.
Vom Parkplatz bis zum Cache ist es ein kleiner Fußmarsch von etwa 15 Minuten.
