As is the case when I can't think of a cache name, I'm going to urge you to listen to one of my favorite obscure bands!
If you've been living in Minneapolis since the 1970's there's a good chance you're familiar with this group. They struck it big with the hit "Gypsy Queen Pt. 1" and released 4 albums before they went separate ways.
James Walsh and Jim Johnson still get together with some other very talented musicians under the Gypsy name to put on a show in the Twin Cities occasionally, and they still can play. Thank god for that as I probably would have never heard them otherwise!
Anyway, check out the youtube video in the related webpage to listen to Gypsy Queen Pt. 1.
