Lone Mountain Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

SR73: Due to a recent flash flood in the the Las Vegas Valley on August 19, 2003, the Lone Mountain Cache site was compromised. Running water had almost dislodged the cache from it's hiding spot. I will incorperate all of the cache items into a new cache to hidden at another location.

Thanks for all of those that had found the cache.

Geocache Description:

The Cache is located at the base of Lone Mountain just a short hike west of Lone Mountain Park. This cache is great for the kids as well as for the seasoned cache hunter. Park at the South parking lot and follow the dirt trail at the west end of the parking lot.

The cache is made from a white 4 inch diameter PVC pipe. The cache is marked with an official Geocache label. The cache is hid it pretty well, so when you find it, do the same.
