Jusqu’en 2012, la LPO Auvergne s'est vu confier la gestion des 200 hectares de "l'Espace Naturel Sensible de la boire des carrés" (à St-Rémy-en-Rollat, Charmeil, St-Germain-des-Fossés, Creuzier-le-Vieux, juste au nord de Vichy - 03), par la Communauté d'Agglomération de Vichy val d'Allier...
Un projet majeur vient d'être achevé : la création de deux circuits de découverte nature, à la "boire des carrés" (à St-Rémy). Le tour de la Boire, parcours très facile de 1,6 km et le sentier de la héronnière faisant 2,4 km.
Ces aménagements vous offrent, en libre accès, le loisir de venir découvrir les richesses écologiques du secteur, en une ou plusieurs visites.
De façon originale et plaisante, votre balade sera complétée par quelques panneaux (et autres aménagements) implantés sur les 4 km de chemins, ou sentiers. L'évolution des saisons est prise en compte par le changement des panneaux 2 fois dans l'année.

In an original and enjoyable, your ride will be supplemented by a few panels (and other amenities) located about 4 km of paths, or trails. The changing seasons is taken into account by the replacement of panels 2 times a year.
