This cache is located in the Dwight B Demeritt forest. This is a part of the University of Maine at Orono. There are sometimes logging operations in the area so please read all signs and stay clear of any equipment. There are a variety of terrains, but mostly flat with occasional roots and rocks.
You will find this cache along the Green trail. The closest access is from the Logan Rd. parking area. I spotted this log which is well on it's way back to being a part of the forest it once grew in.
PLEASE!! Do not destroy the log. The cache is easily retrieved from the back. The container may not be able to be retrieved if there is much snow on the ground. The cache is a medium lock & lock. Replace as found for the next cacher.
