Gullivan Travels Traditional Cache
jrcbec: Hurricane Irma managed to drastically alter this island. Big changes in these barrier islands. With the amount of damage done to the flora we have decided to archive the cache.

A good excuse to paddle into the 10,000 islands
...but then again who really needs one?!
One of the 10,000 islands to explore is Gullivan Key...camping is allowed on this key ...paddle from Goodland which has several launch options. Gullivan Key is just over 6 miles from Goodland....you should check tides and weather (link to NOAA weather at top of page)...there are some big bays and open water on the way to Gullivan.....this can be a challenging paddle for beginners but if the conditions are right it is quite fun....however, when the wind is up the paddle will be demanding...
