Geocache Description:

Girl Scouts is celebrating 100 years of Girl Scouting in 2012. In honor of this occasion, we are hiding three geocaches to share the story of Juliette Low, the founder of Girl Scouts. We invite you to take this journey with us!

In 1914 Juliette Low sold her heirloom pearls so she could finance the first Girl Scout programs.

Girl Scouts build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.

This is a prime location to practice cache in, trash out. We did a good clean up when we placed the cache. This cache is in an old 35mm film canister. To make replacing the cache easier, you can take off the lid, and take out the log without removing the cache container. BYOP, this cache is only large enough for a log and a small item or two.
We stocked it with a 100 year Girl scout patch.
FTF can email the contact in the Cache for a $10 DD gift card.
