This Cache Is Part Of The 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash

 The 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash is a virtual trail that takes cachers to 22 sites located throughout Wicomico County. The locations feature Wicomico's "Hidden Treasures" - parks, museums, historical buildings, and waterways. The 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash is a Challenge Trail and works on a passport system.

There are no alternate requirements to finding and logging this cache! However, if you would like to complete the Challenge and be elligible for the limited edition commemorative coin, ...
You must -
  • Record the code word on your passport
  • Sign the logbook
  • Take a picture of yourself with the container
  • Log your find online
  • Attach your picture to your log

Hello

Thanks to an agreement with the Department of Natural Resources allowing regular use of the 6,000 acres adjacent to the property, those suffering with cognitive, physical, and emotional disabilities have found a refuge in these woods. Five retired race horses that were adopted from the Southern Delaware Horse Retirement have also found their refuge. This partnership aids in teaching social skills, communication, teamwork, impulse control, and in instilling trust and confidence in those in need. Equine Therapy has long been known for it's ability to help develop not only someone's love of the outdoors or of animals, but also a new love of life itself.
