Geocache Description:


The marked rock near the cache was in place when Noreasta bought land and established the homestead over 30 years ago. A fire warden lived near by and it is presumed that he might be responsible for at least maintaining the message on the rock, though it is not known for sure.

One of the questions at hand, is ...... Where is Smokey?
How often do you see such a message without the friendly face we know goes with the words?

Please be aware that this is a very busy road. Consider parking on the same side of the road and near the rock with the message. Pull off the road!
