Geocache Description:

This Cache is in memory of Our Great-Uncle Tom who in 1919 died near this spot.

The news report read that Thomas John Williams (aged 21) was driving to work on his motorbike came around the corner in Pen-y-fai and hit a cow!! He was flown from his bike and despite the best efforts of the medical staff in the near by Glanrhyd hospital, he died :(

We don't know what happened to the cow????

I don't want this to be a somber cache so in memory of my Great-uncle Tom Id like people to leave him a joke in their logs, preferably animal related joke due to the way he died, but any will do (keep them clean though). Id like to think that wherever Great-uncle Tom is he can have a bit of a chuckle :)
