You will find yourself at a information stop as you enter the leafy suburb of Thurgoona. A very short detour off the Hume Highway as your passing through.
Plenty of room for a few cars to park, or with the caravan, campers or boats in tow.
Thurgoona is a rapidly growing community based suburb on the outskirts of Albury with a population of around 5000.
It's home to 3 schools, a Charles Sturt University campus, the historic Kinross Woolshed, a beautful 18 hole golf course and built in 2010 was the new Thurgoona Plaza to service the growing needs of the community.
You will find quite a few caches in the nearby area that will give you a good look around.
