Observation tower of General Falkenhayn. The german general was head of the army defending the city of Sibiu in September 1916. The Tower is in top of the Gusteritei (Grigori) hill - near Sibiu, in an advanced state of degradation.
In 2019, the Urbana Society consolidated the wall and blocked access to the interior, installing a metal door, the floor platform to be rebuilt.
[RO] Turn de observaţie al generalului Falkenhayn. Generalul german a fost conducătorul armatei care apăra Sibiul în septembrie 1916. Turnul se află pe dealul Grigori din Guşteriţa, la marginea oraşului Sibiu într-o stare avansată de degradare. Localnicii folosesc titulatura de "monument".
In 1918 în jurul turnului a fost amplasat cimitirului soldaților germani din primul razboi mondial. În august 1942 plăcile din marmură pe care era menționat gradul militar, numele militarului, regimentul din care făcea parte, anul nașterii și al decesului, au fost mutate în incinta bisericii romanice din Cisnădioara.
În anul 2019 Societatea Urbana a consolidat zidul si a blocat accesul la interior, montând o ușă metalică, platforma etajului urmând să fie reconstruită.

Der Turm liegt im Hammersdorf (Grigoriberg), in einem fortgeschrittenen Zustand der Verwesung, am Rande von Sibiu. Die Einheimischen verwenden den Titel "Denkmal"
[HU] Falkenhayn tábornok megfigyelőtornya. A német tábornok által vezetett hadsereg védte Nagyszebent 1916 szeptemberében. A torony a szenterzsébeti Grigori domb tetején található, Nagyszeben szélén, meglehetősen leromlott állapotban.
