Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the location listed but can be found by solving a puzzle.

The village trail is planned to be a 20+ mile walking circuit visiting a number of the delightful villages around the market town of Braintree. This is cache 9 of stage 2 and stage 2 is just over 5 miles in length. There is on street parking available in the village of Stisted, which is the starting point for this stage.

Each stage of the village trail will be a point to point walk, along public footpaths, that will eventually form a circuit. Each stage will be made up of several puzzle caches, a few waymarker traditional caches and a bonus cache.

Clues of the whereabouts of the bonus cache will be found by visiting a selection of the caches on the route, although we won't be telling you which ones.

Stage 2 also includes two en route mini bonus caches, which can be found by collecting numbers from caches 1 - 6 and 7 - 12 respectively.

There will also be a final Village Trail bonus cache which will be able to be found by collecting numbers from the bonus main cache from each stage.

The cache is a bison tube with log book only. Please bring a pen or pencil to log your visit. We got varying GPSr readings here - would finders let us know how accurate you found co-ords please and we will adjust as necessary. Move on to en route 3, which is a traditional cache.
