We decided to do a series called "Trekking Through Lawrence". There isn't many Caches in this area and we wanted to bring Cachers here to see some of the beautiful areas and just random spots in Lawrence County, KY. #8 in this series is "Secret Cove"
(A Geocacher is always prepared)
There is another nearby Cache in this Series called "Twilight" You should head that way first because you'll see a gravel area to park to start your search for Secret Cove. We were out last year in May and decided to take a little walk in a field that we pass while heading Down Stream at Yatesville Lake. As we continued we noticed a creek and then a little cove hidden in the woods. There is an awesome rock wall along the cove and a little sandy beach area to do some fishing from. The little Jr. Cachers love this spot and go wild playing in the creek and playing on the rocks. We wanted to bring others here an what better way than to hunt a Cache.
