It is pretty steep descent down to the creek from the walking trail. Beware of leaches, bull ants and snakes. Do not attempt after heavy rain.
Many times I have walked along the walking trail pushing geoson in the geo-pusher. Looking down into the creek, I could just make out an old car sitting there. For a couple of years I had wanted to go down and check it out. Well a few weeks ago I found myself on the same trail, by myself, and curiosity got the better of me. What a rewarding experience. So today I returned with 12 yo geostepdaughter and we placed a cache. The third of five caches that I have planned for the area. The cache is a 200ml sistema container, containing a log book and a pencil. There is a small chance of flooding, so be wary of the level of the creek. Do not attempt on days of extreme bush fire risk.
