Highest Point
Welcome to another Blacklegend cache... My 112th hide.
Been meaning to put a hide here for a while, as I have been aware of the location since I installed my nearby "Toc Blowhole" earthcache. So here is the hide.
The location and the subject of this hide is pretty much the highest point in the area, and the location of a Trig Point and Geodetic Marker (see images below). My GPSr was reading 131m here, which in a very flat area, is a high spot. I included a panorama above of the view. Not the greatest detail nor best panorama I have taken, but it gives an idea of the view. I have also included below a pic of the Geodetic marker which is located near the trig point.
The area used to be used as a granite quarry, there are remnants of this activity all around, including about 10 to 15 meters away, a fairly steep drop down into a quarry / mining pit.
The hide here is a micro hidden under a small cairn of granite rocks. GPSr was pretty accurate out in the open here, so you won't miss it. I ran out of larger containers, so, if in the future if it gets muggled, I will replace it with a bigger container. See how it goes.

Once again, have fun and be careful with the kiddies in the Australian bush. This area, while I have been here a few times, I have not seen a snake, they will be around for sure. There is also a fair drop into a quarry type pit about 10m away. Keep and eye on the kiddies if you have them with you...... Good luck and importantly, have fun.
