Denne cachen er lagt ut iforbindelse med Newtoncamp, som holdes hvert år i september måned. Begge cachene ligger plassert i flotte utsiktpunkter mot havet.
Newtoncamp er et samarbeid mellom den norske turistforening og Tekna.
Newton Camp er et tilbud som gir barn og unge mulighet til meningsfull fritid. Gjennom lek, opplevelser og læring ute i naturen skal de gis innblikk i realfagene: naturfag, matematikk og teknologi. Alle aktivitetene vil baseres på realfaglige tema og problemstillinger knyttet til hverdagslige fenomen. Deltakerne skal delta i spennende aktiviteter der de lærer å utforske og forstå naturen uten å forbruke den.
•Aktivitetene skal ha et helhetlig fokus på kosthold, fysisk aktivitet og realfag.
•En camp foregår utendørs, unntaksvis inne.
•Hver modul har definert en viss voksentetthet (~5 veiledere pr 20 barn).
•Barna må fylle 10-12 år i inneværende år.
Fra E-18 følg merket vei mot Tvedstrand, Gjeving og skiltet vei til Risøya folkehøgskole.
Parker med Risøya Folkehøgskole og få med den risøyacachen som ligger i nærheten av broen. Bak skolen går det vei opp til den gamle campingplassen. Følg GPSen og veiene ut mot havet.

Newton Camp is a collaboration between the Norwegian Tourist Organization and Tekna.
Newton Camp is a program that gives young people the opportunity to meaningful leisure. Through play, and learning experiences in the wild they will be given insight into science, mathematics and technology. All activities will be based on science topics and issues related to everyday phenomena. Participants will participate in exciting activities where they learn to explore and understand nature without consuming it.
• The activities should have a holistic focus on diet, physical activity and science.
• The camp takes place outdoors.
• Children need to fill 10 to 12 years in the current year.
Park your car at Risøya Folkehøgskole and cache in the risøyacachen located near the bridge. Behind the school there is a way up to the old camp site. Follow the GPS and the road towards the sea.
