This is my first hide in New Jersey. I used to see this spot with the abandoned railroad whole driving on Route 1 over 35 years ago. Lately, I thought that this would be a good spot for a cache, so I placed my first 2 New Jersey caches in this area today.
The cache contains a log and a BIG $10 prize for FTF. BYOP. You can park on the gravel area ahead of the cache, or you can use the parking coordinates. There is no need to go out on the highway. Don't do so unless I'm your life insurance beneficiary.
