Venus is an easy planet to see, it is bright in the night sky, normally only the moon being brighter. I work nights and spend a lot of time walking across the roof of the plant and looking up at the planets and stars.

Venus will be in the West for this event, and the sun will have just went down. I'll have cookies, of course.

Venus is the second planet from the sun. Venus reaches its maximum brightness shortly before sunrise or shortly after sunset, for which reason it has been known as the Morning Star or Evening Star. It has no moons. For more info go to wikipedia
