This brick wall is all that remains . A GAFFof the Charleston Orphan Asylum.

The all-girls dormitory used to be Jenkins Orphanage, which burned down in the 1800s.

It was a co-ed dormitory for years while fire alarms would mysteriously go off.
Always checked and no faulty system. Once the college even put a dust to glow in blacklight on the fire alarm to see if anyone in the building had pulled the alarm. All of the residents and others in the buildings hands were checked. Everyone was clean and no one knew of the powder and trick to catch them.
The school turned it into single-sex, hoping that this would change, but residents have felt a presence for the years since. Fire alarms go off, electronics go haywire, and odd circular singing noises are heard.

It is believed a group of little girls spirits still dwell here. They have been heard as few as three and as many as seven singing in a circle, maybe "ring around the rosie" a song about the plague and carrying flowers to cover the smell of death and rot.....

High muggle area day and sometimes night.
