Geocache Description:

Small container hidden within the Rauscher Farm Conservation Area.

See GC3GDRB "Indian Rock" for parking and trail head coordinates

The Area:

Rauscher Farm comprises wonderfully diverse environments - grasslands, wetlands, woodlands, and access to Clamshell Pond - each with its store of rich ecological treasures. Enjoy the beauty and serenity of 60 acres of open space purchased by the Town of Clinton in June 2008.

The Cache:

Dedicated to Sally Heighton who simply could not find it in her to throw anything away. She was a recycling master long before "recycling" became part of our every day lives. She would be proud to know that something she saved avoided the landfill and continues to be useful.

Before retrieving the cache please make sure to notice how it's hidden so it can be re-hidden properly. Thanks

This cache is winter friendly. Room for small items and travelers.

***The terrain rating will increase with very wet or snowy conditions***

Available during daylight hours only.

All hides are within 30 feet of a trail. Please be mindful of private property. Trail maps are available at the parking area.

Good luck and have fun.
