Awkward Turtle Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LavaLizard: We reviewers typically operate under the assumption that adequate permission exists to place a cache unless circumstances suggest otherwise. After reviewing the cache history, I have come to the conclusion that either the cache was placed in a closed area or after the cache was placed, the area became closed. Either way, I am archiving this cache as it appears that permission to place a cache in this location no longer exists.

If you would like to contact me regarding this cache, please do so via my profile page: http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=322f7189-2996-4774-9484-c0f4e6be6059 . Be sure to include the GC code in your message.

If the issues that led its archival can be resolved, it may be possible to unarchive this cache.

Thank you for your contributions to geocaching.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the very south end of San Onofre State Beach (day use fee) and leads you to amazing views of the ocean and dramatic geologic formations. CAUTION: CLIFFS NEARBY. DO NOT RECOMMEND SEARCHING FOR THIS CACHE AFTER DARK. When replacing this cache, ensure you carefully reapply the camouflage. Unfortunately, the first cache container (ammo can) was muggled. Great cache for swag and travel bugs.
