I love this back way between Great Falls and Fort Benton, when the roads are good. This road curves and goes up and down. Runs closer to the Highwood mountains. It is overall a nicer scenic drive than the old Havre highway. The micros I put along here are simple micros to lead you along. Enjoy the scenery.
PLEASE: do NOT park on dry grass!
Ay the junction where this cache is you can continue on to Fort Benton or make a detour to the Lost Lake Overlook cache, GcG98Z by billinmt. Interesting and unique place to see.
