ZEBRA-3 Gran Torino is a small clip lock container wrapped in camouflage tape and is located in Starkies Wood in Bury. There are some new paths being laid in the wood but the area can be muddy. A slight climb on loose soil is need to reach the cache, so I recommend that suitable footwear is worn. Parking is available on Gigg Lane.

Starkies Wood This is a small woodland area that is located at the bottom of Gigg Lane at the junction of Manchester Road, Bury. The woodland has been overgrown and neglected for many years however recently students have joined Bury Ranger Service to help restore Starkies Wood to its former glory. Volunteers from Holy Cross College are carrying out conservation tasks such as woodland management, re-instating overgrown footpaths and preparing parts of the wood for the introduction of wildflowers. Other groups who are helping the rangers restore Starkies Wood include BTCV, Bury’s Youth Offending Service and Bury Rangers Volunteer Rangers. ZEBRA-3 was the call sign of the 70's duo Starsky and Hutch. They drove a Red Gran Torino with a white stripe down the side and up across the roof.
