The Pasvikriver is a national border between Norway and Russia.
One of the narrowst places can be found at Jordanfoss. Here Russia is only a few meters away from the waterline.
The way of getting to the cache is depending upon the weather conditions.
- In snow conditions you can park the snow scooter on parking spot 1 or the car at parking spot2 and continue from there by ski or foot.
- In no snow conditions parking spot 1 can be reached by off road vehicle. Otherwise park at spot 2 and continue by bicycle or foot. It is even possible to reach the cache with a small boat or canoe.
From parking spot 1 it is a small walk up to the cache. You will pass a fence with an opening (just enough for a person) on the right side. It is allowed to use this opening.
The cache can be found attached behind a tree next to a big rock.
Take the time to go a little bit further to enjoy the view and the calmness of this area.
