Geocache Description:

The fate of John and Jane McMuggle.

John and Jane McMuggle were new strangers to Erb Settlement. They were recently engaged and were looking forward for a new life in this new place.
The local population was on the lookout because of recurring thefts of cattle in the area and did not see with good eyes new arrivals.
According to the legend it all happened one night, Karl Mckenzie was seen running down the road screaming that his farm was robbed and he knew who did it.
A mob quickly gathered and something happened when darkness settled in.
The house was ransacked and torn down and John and Jane had disapeared and nobody around was talking.
The only thing that was found in the morning was a single page.
It was a page that had been ripped out of John McMuggles diary.
From his last entry, he knew something was going on and that something could happen to him and his fiancee.

To this day nobody knows what happened to the young couple but legend says that when the night is right theres lights in the darkness that show the path to what transpired many nights ago.
Perhaps tonight is the night to have your chance to find out more.
