Geocache Description:

This is the second of a series of four caches, which take you to the summit of Legogote. It is recommended that they are done in ascending order.

A chance to catch your breath. This cache is located in a copse of trees just before you enter the indigenous forest. During the dry winter months, grass fires often sweep up the slopes of Legogote, but stop when they reach these forests as there is no combustible material here. The forests offer a safe refuge to the larger animals such as red and grey duiker and bushpig.

You may encounter Nguni cattle along you travels. They are fairly curious but pretty timid, so make a noise and wave your arms around and they will give way.
