Geocache Description:

Ardee Railway walk (ARW) is also know as the Dee Valley Walk it follows the old Ardee Railway Line trackbed) with a total lenth of 8Km it runs from Ardee's old Railway Station and then parallel for almost it's entire length beside the National Primary Route 33 to Whitemills, The walk is Easily accessable, and mostly on the level, it is suitable for use by all. And now has plenty native shrubs planted along the route which are now maturing well.

Safe Parking is avilable in Ardee at the start of the walk (waypoint provided on ARW 2). You can park closer but please don't be tempted to park on the hard shoulder of the N33.

The Cache

The track is a little rough in places at this point in the walk. The cache is a couple of steps off the path.
