Bringing this back to life in honor of Strol - who's many hides in this area got us hooked to geocaching.

When I found my first cache back in 2008 "Dance of the Jungies" by Paleman52, hidden in Letchworth State Park I had a great time. My wife and I enjoyed the great hike in and location of that cache. It was a beautiful November Indian Summer day. A rather large buck was staring us down at GZ. The trees in that area were very impressive. It really got me interested in geocaching. But it was caches hidden by Strol that I got me hooked to the game and Team Broughton was formed. Not a crazy fanatical out every day cacher but hooked nonetheless.
With that in mind, I placed this cache today in honor of Strol, the one who really introduced Team Broughton to the game with his numerous varieties of hides. This one was really neat in its original form.
So here's to you Strol - it was you that got the ball rolling here in the Brant, Angola, North Collins area. A hearty three cheers for your hard work and efforts in placing all those caches. THANK YOU SIR!
This cache is located off the Franklin Gulf green trail. If you leave out of the parking area and go counter clockwise (turn right) the trail is in much better shape in this section of the loop. The cache is located at the far end of the loop. You can turn around and go back the same way you came in or be brave and continue on via the other half of the green trail loop. It will eventually tie into the orange trail back to the parking lot. That way can be very wet at times. We cleaned up this section some and placed some more green blazes. Looking forward to doing more work on this green trail in the future. It will be fun to snowshoe in the Winter.
The green trail loop is about 1.25 miles long - enjoy the hike..
You are looking for a lock -n lock container hidden in a new way for us (not exactly as Strol hid his - but close)... good luck - you may need it 8-)
