Geocache Description:

A pleasent area at the northern end of Ermine Street on the outskirts of Scawby - the last in a line of six caches along the old Roman road

The Roman road, Ermine Street, can be traced for many miles. This particular spot is what is left of the single track road running from the south toward Broughton with Scawby to the south/east.

Access to the sixth (Note Scawby Bonus is a Premium cache) in this series is from the south off Messingham Lane. The route to the cache is easily accesible on foot from the parking areas used when visiting "Scawby Three"
The cache is very close to the westbound off slip from the M180 - Do not attempt to park on this busy motorway intersection.
Parking coordinates are listed below.

You are looking for a lonely creature which now only inhabits a few areas of England.
How this one strayed here nobody knows.

He is comfortably hidden - please replace as found

It contains a log sheet and FTF certificate, please take a writing implement.

This part of the old lane is a lot quieter than the other areas and you should be able to enjoy a pleasant muggle free stroll.

Make sure young children and dogs are under control near to the footpath exit.
