Dopo oltre un mese dalla mia nota, non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta nè visto alcuna modifica.
Se non lo hai ancora fatto, per favore raccogli ogni eventuale resto del cache al più presto possibile. Se hai intenzione di intervenire sul cache, una volta completata l'operazione per favore lasciatemi un messaggio con il numero waypoint GC relativo al cache. Sarò più che lieto di verificare nuovamente il cache per verificare la sua conformità con le linee guida.

La chiesa prende nome dal “barbacane”, torrione delle mura inglobato nella struttura dell'edificio. Alla fine del XIV secolo vi fu dipinta una Madonna attribuita a Lippo di Dalmasio, intorno a cui fu costruita una piccola cappella, poi ampliata dalla famiglia Bentivoglio. L'affresco fu ridipinto nel 1472 dal pittore F. del Cossa. Al termine del XV secolo la chiesa, cui era annesso il Conservatorio delle Putte, era una delle più ricche e fiorenti della città. Nel 1682 fu realizzata la cupola da A. Barelli.

LA TRADIZIONE
Subito dopo la cerimonia nuziale, per tradizione, gli sposi bolognesi andavano, e vanno tuttora, al Santuario della Madonna del Baraccano, chiamato anche Chiesa della Pace, situato a ridosso delle antiche mura cittadine della seconda cerchia, tra Porta Santo Stefano e Porta Castiglione, a "prendere la pace", ad implorare cioè la pace coniugale, baciando un'immagine in miniatura che riproduce la Madonna del Cossa, e offrendo dei fiori sull'altare dedicato alla Vergine. La tradizione suggerisce che la sposa lasci sull'altare il proprio bouquet, ma è più frequente veder donare un altro mazzo di fiori preparato appositamente.
Attraverso i secoli alla Madonna del Baraccano furono attribuiti vari episodi miracolosi.

ENGLISH
The name “Barracano” comes from the term barbican, or the tower of a defence structure. At the end of the 14th century, a fresco depicting the Madonna, allegedly by Lippo di Dalmasio, was painted on a segment of the old city wall. This led to the building of a small chapel to enclose the painting. The chapel was later enlarged by the Bentivoglio family. The fresco was repainted in 1472 by F. del Cossa. By the end of the 15th century the church and its adjoining Conservatorio delle Putte, was one of the richest, most thriving establishments of the city. The dome was built by A. Barelli in 1682.

THE TRADITION
Immediately after the ceremony, traditionally, the bride and groom in Bologna go to Santa Maria del Baraccano, also called "Church of Peace", located near the ancient city walls of the second layer, between Porta and Porta Santo Stefano Castiglione, to "make peace", that is, to implore a peaceful marriage, kissing an image of the Madonna del Cossa, and offering flowers on the altar dedicated to the Virgin. Tradition suggests that the bride leaves on the altar the bouquet, but is more common to see another bunch of flowers specially prepared.
Through the centuries, various miraculous episodes were attributed to Santa Maria del Baraccano.
