The Riddle of the Dread Pirate Cacher!
In seventeen hundred and thirty-eight,
Dread Pirate Cacher raided the ocean great.
With three tall ships his quest did begin:
The DeLorme, the Magellan, the Garmin.
Aboard each ship Dread Cacher placed,
A captain fierce and handsome-faced.
The surnames of these pirates three,
Were Spoiler, Swag, and Newbie.
Upon the ship to arrive first where planned,
The ruthless Swag held firm command.
Dread Cacher craftily shared his ship,
With the notorious Spoiler on the trip;
Their craft, caught in a muggle-cursed storm,
Somehow arrived sooner than the DeLorme.
Across the waters as if tempest-blown,
The Garmin's commander sailed alone.
So now tell me reader, if you can,
Which ship was captained by which man?
Aboard which vessel stout and true,
Did the Dread Pirate Cacher sail the blue?
Which good ship arrived unsurpassed,
Which one came second, which one last?
To find their treasure, you will need,
A mind of logic and a heart of greed!
In order to be a solvin' this here infernal puzzle, ye will be needin' to conjure the order o' which each pirate and piratical ship did be arrivin' in (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
