I travel the back roads between Newcastle and Harrismith often and this was one of them funny hazards that came up one day... It is a low level bridge with a river always crossing over it.... For the most part it is not too deep to cross and makes for a lot of fun if you do it at a bit of speed.... But exercise caution regardless of the depth, always scout beforehand to make sure it is safe.... The water is usually only a couple of centimeters deep but in the rainy seasons between December and February it could be flooded.
Cache is in a paperbark thorn tree on the downstream side.....
