Small unactivated Trackable for the FTF.
A few years ago I was visiting my parents in Palm Springs and I went to find a cache called "I-10 West" near the freeway on ramp. When I noticed this spot I decided to put up a cache similar to the one on I-10 West.
Let me tell you the story: I was a new cacher and I was wandering around near the freeway on ramp with my GPS in hand, in the 100 degree heat, when these darling 20-something girls stopped to "help" me. They asked me what I was doing and if they could help. I said "Oh, no, I'm just looking for a geocache". Then they said "Do you know where you are, Lady?". I said, "oh yes, I have my GPS!". They drove away shaking their heads and I didn't find the GC.
But, I came back a year later with more experience and walked right to it!
Anyway, I'm sure you have some funny GC stories! Please share them with me! GnGn
