BACK INTO HELL
Il y a un peu plus d'une année un sauvetage écologique avait eut lieu à la centrale nucléaire de Cattenom. Une colonie de chauve souris avait été déplacée de son habitat d'emprunt (
bat out of hell ) et dirigée vers une zone naturelle plus adaptée.
Les résultats étaient plutôt mitigés , mais les observations continues nous amènent à conclure à un succès. En effet malgré la présence de chiroptères encore actuellement sur le premier site , la majeure partie de la nichée 2011 s'est déplacée plus au nord aux abords de la capitale. Il semble même que cette nichée n'a pas subit d'effets secondaires suite aux radiations. Malheureusement le technicien qui a déposé l appareil enregistreur est le seul qui connaissait l'emplacement choisit par les petits mammifères.Cet homme est décédé depuis peu (.) et l appareil doit être activé au plus vite . Nous comptons sur toi pour enclencher l'enregistreur ! Voici les notes de Dédé , feu notre technicien .
" le 3 janvier 2012 , les mammifères dorment ! Mes mesures sont prises à l'extérieur ...il faudra peut être les introduire dans le vérificateur pour voir ce que ca donne au final. La prise de mesure est bonne , je dépose la balise délicatement et je n'ose pas l'enclencher pour ne pas reveiller la colonie. Il faudra revenir."
Vor etwa einem Jahr fand in der Atomzentrale in Cattenom eine ökologische Bergung statt. Eine ganze Kolonie Fledermäuse wurde von ihrem Ursprungsort (
bat out of hell) in eine angemessenere Umgebung migriert.
Das Resultat dieser ´Umsiedlung´ fiel eher bescheiden aus, doch die weitergeführten Beobachtungen erbrachten uns doch einige Erfolge ein. Wenn auch noch einige Fledermäuse auf dem ehemaligen Gelände zurückblieben, so hat sich doch der grösste Teil der Brut von 2011, in Richtung Norden, an den Stadtrand der Hauptstadt verzogen. Es kann sogar davon ausgegangen werden, dass diese Brut keinerlei Nebenwirkungen durch die radioaktive Bestrahlung erlitten hat. Die einzige Person, welche den genauen Ort kennt, wo die Fledermäuse sich heute aufhalten, ist der Techniker, welcher damals das Registriergerät installiert hatte. Der Techniker ist leider verstorben ...aber der Datenschreiber muss schnellstens aktiviert werden. Wir zählen auf dich, damit das Gerät eingeschaltet wird! "3. Januar 2012. Die Fledermause schlafen! Ich habe alle notigen Messungen vorgenommen......man musste sie eventuell uberprufen, um sicher zu sein. Die Messungen sind in Ordnung. Ich stelle die Markierung ganz vorsichtig ab. Ich traue mich nicht sie einzuschalten um die Kolonie nicht zu wecken. Ich muss zurueckkommen."
A little over a year ago, an ecological rescue occurred at the nuclear plant of Cattenom. A colony of bats had been moved from its home (bat out of hell) and directed to a natural area more suitable for the species.
The results were somewhat mixed, but the sustained observations lead us to conclude that the transition is a success. Indeed, despite the presence of some bats still on the first site, most of the 2011 brood moved further north to the outskirts of the capital. It seems that this brood has not suffered any side effects after radiation. Unfortunately the technician who place the recording device is the only one who knew the location chosen by small animal. This man died recently and the device must be activated as soon as possible. We count on you to turn on the recorder! Here are the notes of Dédé, our beloved technician.
"On 3rd January 2011, mammals sleep! My measurements are taken outside ... it might be necessary to introduce them in the system to see what it gives in the end. The measurement is good, I lay the system gently and I dare not turn on the unit in order not to wake the colony. It will be necessary to come back. "
