One of a serices of caches located along the Clarksburg-McWhorter Rail Trail.
Larger micro, very close to trail. This cache marks the beginning of the second section of trail heading north.
The Clarksburg-McWhorter rail trail is a former rail line converted to recreational use as a trail. The trail runs from the southern edge of Clarksburg, WV to just south of Lost Creek, WV. Plans are in the works to connect the trail to others in the area, creating a larger trail network.
This section of the trail is in very good shape, and is bicycle friendly. A designated parking area with restrooms and picnic table is located at the south end of the trail.
Cache has been placed with the permission of Harrison County Parks and Recreation.
