Geocache Description:

Small Cache hidden at Llywelyn's cave

Llywelyn ap Gruffydd was the last Prince of an independent Wales before its conquest by Edward I of England.

Legend has it the Llywelyn spent his last night at this cave before the Battle of Orewin Bridge, when on the 11th of December 1282, he was killed and beheaded.

Parking can be found in the village of Aberedw. Closer parking for one car can be found at the additional waypoint listed.

Follow the no-through road and enter via the farm gate up a steep incline. Go through a further two farm gates before crossing towards the Cache location.
