This cache is located near Deforest Quarry. You can park at the entrance along The Grange road. The trail runs on the road leading to the quarry.
Deforest Quarry is known for having beautiful brown sandstone and other stones known to the area. One the northern side of the quarry, Orange Celestite (Celestine) crystals can be found along the exposed quarry wall. If your lucky, Green Malachite crystal formation can be found as well. The quarry is private property therefor "rockhounds" need owner's permission if you wish to visit the site to collect mineral samples. Great trails and other caches in the area to enjoy.
