The Empire presents… Footscray Wharf. The 26th cache by The Empire on geocaching.com is hidden along the Maribyrnong River.
The wharf doesn't look like it did in 1944, especially after a $5m upgrade. There is a refurbished section of the old timber wharf, you'll need to get up close and personal with it to find the cache.

This is a small cache, I think it was used for paintball pellets. There are two pens in the cache, incase you drop one, and ensure the lid is on tight to keep out the rain... and the river.
