Seawind: The geocaching experience for this one has changed considerably. The road approach to the site is now permanently closed to the public. Many parts of the trail are overgrown and the access has changed somewhat. The cache is missing and the site is overgrown and difficult to reach.

Given all this, I have decided to archive the cache and replace it with a new trail-only cache. Watch for "Gee!".

Thanks to the Estacadians for letting me adopt the area. I will keep this adventure going!

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a somewhat popular location. You will see where it's hidden if your driving North on Hwy 101 towards Garibaldi. In fact, in the evening it glows.

Although there are a couple of ways to get here, we recommend coming up the old road. We didn't try the trail that leads straight up the hill but it looks awful steep...LOL

Park near the gate at N 45 33.703, W 123 55.628 on the old road. Follow the road up the hill and stay to the right each time the road splits and you will find the trail head at these coords N45 33.844 W 123 55.265. Follow the trail downhill until you reach your destination.
