Den gamle forbrænding.

(DK)I min ungdom var dette en af de rigtig travle steder i byen,her kom folk med deres affald for at få det brændt af,alt der kunne brænde kom ned i de 2 store beton "huller" og blev løftet op med en stor klo og for en dreng på 6-8 år var det et fantastisk syn. Men så kom der nye tider, affaldssortering og i en kort årrække var det kun sorteret affald der blev brændt af, senere lukkede anlægget helt ned og varmen kom fra et stort centralt kraftvarme anlæg.Men når jeg den dag køre forbi kan jeg ikke lade være med at tænke på kranen,de to store "huller" og fascinationen som barn.
(ENG)In my youth this was one of the really busy places in town, people came here with their waste to have it burnt, everything that could burn came down in the 2 large concrete "holes" and was lifted up with one big claw and for a boy of 6-8 years, it was an amazing sight. But then came the new times, waste separation and in a few years it was only separated waste was burned, and later shut the plant down and the heat came from a large central cogeneration plant.When today when I drive past, I can not help thinking of the crane, the two large "holes" and fascination as a child.
