This is the first of a series of caches placed as part of the Chinthurst Challenge. This one is designed as a cache and dash if you do not have time to do the others, and is placed in view of the car park.
Chinthurst Hill is a lesser known beauty spot which nestles amongst the Surrey villages of Shalford, Wonersh and Bramley. It is a place that I remember visiting as a child, as a young adult whilst courting, and now with my family.
The Co-ordinates for the car park are: N51 12.408 W000 32.973 which is located off the B2128 Wonersh Common Road. There is a small sign, but it is easily missed so be careful!
This is a clip-top box in a camouflage bag and contains various swap items and log book. Be aware, this is a popular site for dog walkers, so watch what you are treading on! Please make sure the lid is on securely before replacing.
