Geocache Description:

i see pine cones but where at the pine trees????

here is a cache that is designed to bring you to the newest park in harker heights - harker heights purser family park! just as the other parks in the region are large, spacious, have lots to do for all, this one is no exception. it has a 1 mile walking/running trail, a dog park, a disc golf course, a playground, picnic tables and multiple creeks running through it. click on the link to see the opening day advertisement for the park.
(visit link)

the land that the park sits on was donated by the purser family. bravo to the purser family and to harker heights for creating yet another awesome park that has become our daughter's new favorite place to play and hang out.

grab your gps, a pen (cache is too small to include a pen/pencil), your running shoes, your frisbee, your dog's leash, and a lunch and head on out to this newest gem of a park!

this cache is hidden out in the open - or is it? it may be a real easy find for some but for others a little more challenging if you've never seen this type of cache container before. i didn't include a hint because the hint is in the title. please place the cache right back where you found it, which shouldn't be tricky to do.

i've rated this cache as a 2/2 for one reason only, a wheelchair can't get to it. it is off the paved trail approximately 75 feet. it appears, for now, that the parks department is going to mow along the edges of the paved trail but let the remainder of the park's open areas grow wild. however, small children should be able to reach the cache just fine. watch for plants with thorns and stickers and you'll be fine.

happy caching in this awesome park!
